Meule is made of modular synths, a guitar, two drums and all this by three musicians crossed at the bend of other Touraine bands (Thé Vanille, C4DILL4C, Lehmanns Brothers…). Their music is carried by repetitive and saturated grooves a la CAN, sequencers and electronic atmospheres reminiscent of Tangerine Dream and the German kraut softs bands of the 70s. Closer to us in time, one is also reminded of Animal Collective in the ode of a post-modern psychedelia, like Mario Kart on a nutella climb on a full moon night. A kaleidoscopic and intense music, cut into six hypnotic tracks on this first record.
