ALO WALA, born Shivani Ahlowalia, has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting names on the global club scene – performing over 150 shows on several continents and being acclaimed by pioneers like Buraka Som Sistema, Branko, Clap Clap, Nucleya and many others… ALO WALA, which means “the seller of light” in a Hindi/Bengali mix, creates a hybrid sound that combines an unearthly rap flow with thunderous bass and sonic influences from around the world.

Over the past few years, this Punjabi-American singer and MC has released two EPs – Cityboy in 2014 (Enchufada Label) and Vibrate To Win in 2015, which have helped the artist gain recognition and appearances at festivals such as Glastonbury (UK), Roskilde (DK), Sunburn (India), Dour (Belgium) and Sole Dxb (Dubai) to name a few.
