TONN3RR3 rumbles like a voodoo ceremony in the middle of a wood, inviting the listener to let himself go into trance and the movement of the body, as alone in the world, to exorcise his misfortunes. The 3 members of the band see their music as a triptych, an improvised mix of electronic beats, tribal percussion and organic melodies. On stage and on record, TONN3RR3 takes us on a journey to unexplored lands, outside and inside our minds, sometimes even places that still do not exist. We do not listen to the music of TONN3RR3, we live it.

The album «Noir Atlantique» is inspired by the concept developed in Paul Gilroy’s novel The Black Atlantic in which the Atlantic area is foreseen as a transnational space where black cultures developed throughout the slave trade. It brings back many little-known cultural links showing the constant circulation of music, an amalgam of multiple contributions; that it is in no way the result of an environment closed on itself. All this is close to the way Tonn3rr3 are conceiving and creating their music , a journey and a blend of instruments and genres . Sono Mondiale, Global Bass, No Border, call it as you wish, TONN3RR3 strongly rejects the idea of cultural appropriation, experimenting and remodeling to create ist own music, looking towards the dancefloor.
