NEW ROSTER : TEA EATER

Tea Eater is a New York based art/noise punk band led by Tarra Thiessen of Gustaf and Sharkmuffin. Their sound combines catchy hooks with bitter lyrics about butter, killing your double, and the DMV being the worst.

Formed in 2022, Tea Eater has quickly made a name for themselves with their energetic live shows and DIY ethos. Since the release of their first single «I’m Starting a Podcast,» Tea Eater has shared the stage with Thee Oh Sees, completed a successful residency at Bushwick’s Broadway and toured the East Coast of the United States. An LP will be released this summer and their debut album, Obsession, produced and mixed by Drew Vandenburg (Bambara/Faye Webster/Of Montreal), will be released in the fall of 2023.
